ASPIRE welcomes the launch of the Kraków Business Council. What matters now is what we make of it.
The new forum brings together people and institutions from across Kraków’s economic life, each with a different perspective, responsibility and stake in the city’s future, and a shared interest in seeing Kraków thrive.
ASPIRE is strongly represented. Przemek Roth, Chair of our Strategic Board, serves on the Presidium, and six further ASPIRE representatives sit on the Council: Andrew Hallam, Founder and General Secretary of ASPIRE; Marcio Costa of IAG GBS; Hanna Piwowarczyk of AbbVie; Philippe De Brouwer of HSBC; Przemysław Zakrzewski of ABB; and Krzysztof Görlich, former Deputy Mayor of Kraków. That level of representation reflects both the weight of our sector in the city and our responsibility to members. Marcio Costa, a member of our Management Board, was sworn in at the end of April.
To make the Council useful to members, ASPIRE has set up a Work Group led by Przemek Roth. Members’ ideas, experience and concerns shape what we bring into the Council, and members can use the forum and the network around it to connect across Kraków’s wider business ecosystem.
