ASPIRE is the representative body of the technology and business services sector in Kraków. It was founded in 2009 and is run by its members, for its members. The sector it represents employs more than 120,000 people in the city.
Members pursue a common strategy: to promote and develop opportunity in technology and business services, and to build the conditions for the sector’s next stage of growth. Our reach is national; our focus is local, working with the city, the region and the universities.
How it works
Be friends. Member relationships shape the questions we work on together.
Data. Evidence informs action.
Outreach. Events and publications widen participation.
Four focus areas
ASPIRE 2 Lead
Leadership for the heads of Kraków’s centres. Centre Heads calls and the annual Leaders Summit for peer exchange; ASPIRE Connect for members’ questions and peer responses; and the Cybersecurity Work Group. Peer exchange stays confidential.
ASPIRE 2 Grow
Growth for the sector, the city and the region. The Headcount Tracker and research such as Kraków in the Evolving GBS Landscape; support and introductions for investors; ASPIRE’s seats on the Kraków Business Council; and cooperation across South Poland, starting with Katowice.
ASPIRE 4 Skills
Skills from school to senior roles. Kraków HR Lab with PCS; the University–Business Forum and cooperation with the City’s Education Department; ASPIRE 4 Schools; the student survey; and the HR Forum’s work on the Skills Barometer.
ASPIRE Concierge
Kraków as a place to host and be hosted. Partner venues and benefits from hotels, restaurants and cultural partners; help with visiting head-office teams and clients; and the Partners’ Dinners and community evenings.
Our motto
Act Local, Win Global.
