Analytics
We use Matomo to count visits and see which pages are read. Matomo runs on our own hosting, so the data stays on our server in Poland and is not shared with anyone else.
Matomo is set up without cookies. The last two parts of your IP address are removed before anything is stored, so we cannot identify you from it. We keep the detailed record of each visit for 180 days and then delete it; after that, only summary figures such as page views remain.

Hosting
The site is hosted by LH.pl in Poland. Like any host, LH.pl may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.

Articles link to LinkedIn, Substack, YouTube, aspire.org.pl and other sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Write to andrew@spbl.pl. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO); in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
