Przemek Roth, Chair of our Strategic Board, has been appointed on behalf of ASPIRE to the Stakeholders’ Board of the Krakow School of Business at the University of Economics in Krakow (KSB UEK).
In his statement on the appointment, he argues that the traditional business degree is no longer a terminal destination. It is a foundation. The half-life of professional skills is shrinking faster than ever, and what was cutting-edge strategy five years ago may now be obsolete.
For modern professionals, he writes, the key to staying relevant lies in postgraduate specialisation and continuous, practical education. In his words, continuous education “is a survival strategy for any business leader and a strategic investment.”
His stated ambition in the role is to help bridge KSB UEK with emerging talent pools in African countries, fostering global collaboration and mutual growth.
The appointment adds to ASPIRE 4 Skills’ links between Kraków’s centres and its universities, alongside the University–Business Forum and the education cooperation agreement signed with the City in April.
