Newsweek Polska: Kraków is becoming Europe’s business hub

Newsweek Polska has published a long piece on Kraków as a European business hub, under the headline “Kraków staje się biznesowym hubem Europy”: Kraków is becoming Europe’s business hub.

The article carries stories on HSBC, Aptiv and a new investor, Airbus. It also covers Kraków Space City, investments by Creotech Instruments and ATMOS Space Cargo, Poland’s first Faculty of Space Technologies at AGH University, and a strong list of start-ups.

Two partners at the City of Kraków contribute at length. Jacek Liguziński of the City’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation describes how Kraków moved from process work to an ecosystem of competences and technology. Bogna Halska-Pionka, the Mayor’s plenipotentiary for academic cooperation, covers the universities and the Urban Living Lab.

ASPIRE contributed the sector’s perspective. Our own figures for the sector in Kraków: more than 120,000 people, and €7.25 billion a year in service exports.

Our thanks to Newsweek Polska for its business coverage, and to the City of Kraków for its continued support for the industry and as Host City of ASPIRE 2026.

The article is in Polish.
